Dermal Fillers
As we age, the face experiences a natural decrease in volume and elasticity. Think of it as a gradual loss of the skin’s internal support structures, leading to sagging, wrinkles, and fine lines. This phenomenon is largely due to a decline in collagen and hyaluronic acid, essential components that contribute to skin suppleness and hydration. Dermal fillers comprise mainly of a synthetic form of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin. These fillers are strategically injected to replenish lost volume and improve fine lines and wrinkles, much like restoring the scaffolding that gives your face its structure. Dermal fillers can also be used to sculpt and enhance your current features.
The beauty of this non-invasive procedure lies in its ability to subtly enhance your features whilst preserving your unique identity. At Dr Mélanin, we prioritise your comfort and natural results. Dr Vasudevan conducts a comprehensive consultation to understand your specific needs and formulate a bespoke treatment plan.
